So another year passes us by. 2017 was my 9th year in business as a specialist wedding photographer, meaning that 2018 marks 10 years of making a living doing what I love. A DECADE!!! Mental. For those that don’t know, I used to be a Formula One photographer, and my last race was the very first Singapore GP. I flew home on the Monday after the race and the thirteen-hour flight gave me plenty of time mull over my decision to leave a job that I’d worked so very hard to get in the first place.

Fast forward to present day and as I always make an effort to stress with everyone I meet, potential client or otherwise, I am very, very fortunate to earn a living shooting weddings. When I was a 16-17 year old lad was my dream to be a wedding photographer, certainly not. But back then I didn’t realise quite how much fun it would be. I work with great people on the best day of their lives, everyone you are surrounded by at a wedding is positive and happy, and I have the absolute privilege of shaping memories for my couples, their families and their friends.

Thank you so very much for all the continued support whether you’re a past or present couple of mine, and if your wedding is approaching, near or far, know that I love what I do and I can’t wait for your day. I’ll be there with a huge smile on my face and I’ll work my socks off for you!

Here are some of my favourite images from 2017. Trust me when I say that there could quite easily be double, even triple maybe even QUADROUPLE the volume you see here but wanted to avoid setting some kind of record for the largest blog post in history! For those of you that want to know, I received quite a few awards this year and the first image in the post won the most bagging both an ISPWP and a Masters of Wedding Photography award (if that means anything to you!).

Thanks again and hope to see you soon!
