So in November I was back at (the multi award winning don’t you know) Dodford Manor for yet another beautiful wedding day. This time it was the turn of Danielle and Lee…

Morning prep for me on this awesome day consisted of my customary x2 Costa coffees followed by another coffee (very kindly made for me) when I arrived at Danielle and Lee’s house. I like to do the triple on the coffees the morning of a wedding where possible. Just in case I don’t have the chance later. It’s not an addiction. To confirm, I’m not addicted to coffee. Glad we cleared that one up!

Thinking back to D+G’s day, one of many great memories was the light. My oh my. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated to such wonderful light. Seriously, this is the sort of thing that gets us photographers super excited. We aren’t always blessed with ace light in this country. But when we are, blimey, all is forgiven. In fact, I’d say that this was perhaps the best light I’ve ever had. Hats need to be taken off to our Bride and Groom, who timed their ceremony perfectly.

A 15.00 ceremony in November could be seen as a bit of a gamble. With the light pretty much fading at 16.00, it doesn’t leave that many daylight minutes for images outside. But what it does do, is give you amazing sunset sunlight. If you get the sun that is. Let’s face it, you can’t guarantee that at any time in England. But they did get the sun! And it was awesome! Not sure whether the timings were planned for that reason, but let’s give D+L the benefit of the doubt shall we?

You can see all the shots with the lovely light below, featuring the even more lovely Danielle and the dapper Lee (check him out dominating his portraits). I seem to say it all the time but I always mean it – thank you for letting me be a part of your day. I genuinely really enjoyed it.

Have a fantastic life together!
